the lights issue.....thats up again.....didnt that get knocked down back in the ninties because the people by the field were afraid the brightness and the crowds.....
When a public meeting was held at Edison Jr. High in the 90's, regarding the installation of lights at the football stadium, an overwhelming number of residents showed up to voice their opposition to the plan. Among reasons for the opposition were: security risk, noise, underage drinking, criminal mischief, and vandalism,
Things have run very smoothly since the almighty Zod left for Quantico. When Wayman gets back it will be back to the same old BS. Oh well, savor the moment I guess.
Who was the female officer with the out of control hair crossing people at Temple Emanuel yesterday? I thought it was Peter Frampton for a minute. I thought they are supposed to have short hair?
what is going on in downtown westfield.???...?????.....drove through there over the weekend and what a mess....there were a bunch of kids everywhere...skateboarding hanging in the street jay walking bumping into the diners on the sidewalk....this didnt happen years ago......
The Westfield police department has assigned a police officer to "walk the beat" downtown during evening hours to maintain a police presence. In recent years with the cutbacks in manpower within the department, staffing levels may have something to do with the lack of police presence downtown. How this fits into Mayor Skibitsky's "Getting more with less" campaign, TFoTM does not know.
