    1. It involves former police chief, current police chief, and subordinate supervisors loyal to the continued corrupt regime. Don't count out Town Administrator Jim Gildea.

  4. this is ridiculous. who is the officer and how much is this going to cost the taxpayers.
Regardless of the unfair practices and past officers getting away with crazy antics. enough is enough.
where is the pride? it is not okay to be texting , falling asleep, at a jet game while on duty or crashing your patrol car. just the rumors on what has occurred is embarassing. the "officer" in question that is now suing has been suspended at least twice. the running joke is the amount of women he chases on the job. Please just fire the guy already

    1. The current unfair labor practice complaint has merit and the Town knows it. They are stalling in an attempt to "wiggle" or "shimmy sham" there way out of it.
It has nothing to do with the officer you reference. That officer (R.B.) no longer works for the Westfield PD.

  5. Nor should he . it is disgraceful that he was on the payroll as long as he was. I hope you are right and the current unfair labor practice does have some merit. Westfield is not a big playground for politicians and police officers.
