  1. What about the 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. days ZOD puts in? Isn't that like stealing time too?

And that doesn't include the lunches with his secretary either!

  2. You think that shit still isn’t going on now? Between the secret squirrel missions of the CRTU and the certain detective Christmas shopping at Bridgewater Mall utilizing a department vehicle while on the clock.

When will Mayor Brindle drain the swamp?

  5. Cops sleeping on duty and not responding to calls should be fired also.

    1. So should supervisors that fabricate departmental charges and conspire to silence an officer reporting departmental corruption.

    2. How did your benefits package work out? That can be expensive if you have to pay for them yourself.

    3. 50% of last years salary for life is standard after 20 years. Benefits covered by 2nd career plus 401k match.
      ;) the grass is greener........

    4. ........oh, I almost forgot, retiring at the ripe old age at 42 from a demoralizing cesspool and collecting a monthly pension check is great.

    5. Bummer. I stopped working after I retired.

    6. Enjoy your retirement, I have 3 more years to go, but as the old saying goes......it ain’t work when you enjoy what you do.

    7. The cop in Florida had to retire too for not doing his job at the school shooting. It happens. You're not the only one forced out.

    8. At least he wasn’t set up by a corrupt administration looking for retribution against an officer for blowing the whistle on a scumbag police chief doing illegal background checks on residents, and a town councilman, while an incompetent town administrator turned a blind eye.
God bless the families in Florida that lost their children but your comparison is like comparing apples to oranges.
      Life is good.

    9. Luckily Westfield high school didn’t have an active shooter incident like Parkland, Florida. At least that cop was on school grounds even though he didn’t go in.
Heck, Jeff Johnson would disappear off school grounds and be unaccountable and all he got was a demotion from sergeant to patrolman.

    10. People around town are worried that the operator of this blog is the next Stephen Paddock in waiting.

    11. Dear Anonymous,
That’s interesting because Stephen Paddock left no electronic footprint for law enforcement to investigate a motive.
My motive/blog is clear, the corruption within the police department and town government is the target.....always has been and always will be.
You can put the people around town with those fears at ease knowing that there are just as many, if not more, around town, that enjoy reading this blog and have thanked me for what this blog offers.
That’s my intent, my motive......so you’re fear mongering is hollow.

  6. Silly little citizens!! No cops get fired in Westfield. The Blue Line of lies and corruption is a finely tuned machine here at Local 90. Do whatever you want - sleep, discharge off duty weapons, have affairs, practice nepotism, use Town property for personal use - the sky is the limit! And for all this - you get to retire and collect the bloated pension for life!!

    1. And don't forget not backup other officers ... like the admin of this site. And he got to "retire" (instead of getting fired) and collect his pension!

    2. Multiple cars backing up the original officers stop wasn’t necessary.
I got to retire and collect my pension because the town rejected the hearing officers findings.
As hard as the administration tried, they failed at silencing me.
I’m reminded of that at the end of each month when my pension check hits my account.

  7. They can’t fire people. If they’re going to allow a drunk supervisor to be in charge of a shift?
Anyone remember that time that Maguire showed up half in the bag and Maloney wanted to put him on the box? How soon we forget.

  8. Since the grand master puppeteer was voted out with four of his marionettes, things are definitely changing and it’s obvious that a few don’t like the changes being made.

  11. What kind of IDIOT does ZOD have to be to send a nixel alert saying the Edison school bomb threat was an "evacuation drill"?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  12. Maybe Zod stared at the ceiling for the answers about the nixel alert

  13. The real question should be: why doesn't the chief have to punch in and out like everyone else?

Another case of do as I say not as I do.

Just like: everyone needs to report accidents involving police department vehicles... except the chief... he just drives away.

    1. Requiring the police chief to clock in and clock out of work would require accountability. He would not be able to come and go as he pleases often disappearing for hours. Also, if he were made to report a motor vehicle accident or “mishap” he would be subject to the same punishment he hands out to his subordinates when they are involved in a motor vehicle accident, and we all know he can’t have that.
