TFoTM’s Person of the Decade

It takes a really special person to beat out two corrupt police chiefs, an incompetent DPW superintendent, a police supervisor willing to cover up his bosses criminal behavior, and a former mayor that turned a blind eye to it all.

The Fact of The Matter has selected Westfield Town Administrator Jim Gildea as the Person of the Decade.

More to come in the new year on how Gildea was able to separate himself from the bottom of the municipal cesspool and rise to the top of the corruption, coverups, and municipal misconduct that has permeated Westfield.

  1. You gotta hand it to him...He's the Teflon Town Admin. How this guy still has his job is a mystery to me. They say that the "fish stinks from the head down". Truthfully, I'm jealous. Great paying job with benefits and no accountability? Best job ever! He definitely deserves the prize!

  3. He has alot to cover up now! Between the recently promoted junior officer, Sgt. Penn who took a few weeks off for a mental breakdown due to the stress of the position, to Lt. Stivale and also recently promoted Sgt. Freeman who just wrongfully suspended an officer for doing his job. What a mess down there. Oh let’s not forget the CAPTAIN and his lawsuit currently taking place. What a circus. Hopefully Union County Pros. Office steps in soon and takes over. It’s coming..
