Part 2: Councilman Mark LoGrippo Enters Ring of Political Collusion

 To recap,

*June 25, 2021 Westfield 3rd ward town council candidate Shawn Mullen, receives an answer to his OPRA request seeking information regarding the DWC and their allocation of Covid relief funds.

3rd Ward Town Council Candidate Shawn Mullen

*David Wildstein, owner of the New Jersey Globe, obtained information about the small town of Westfield and pens a piece that turns into the now infamous "Tote-BagGate."

*Included in the information obtained by Wildstein was a photograph that was taken inside a protected DWC storage container located at the Westfield conservation center.

So, who entered the protected DWC storage container located at the Westfield conservation center on Lambertsmill Rd. and who is responsible for opening boxes and displaying the tote bag for a photo that appeared in David Wildstein's NJ Globe story?

Shortly after town council candidate Shawn Mullen received his OPRA response, that contained the information used in "Tote-BagGate," a TFoTM source confirmed that both Mullen and Councilman Mark LoGrippo were seen at the protected DWC container.

A Fact of The Matter source, with intimate knowledge of the photograph featured in David Wildstein's NJ Globe story, came forward and stated the following......"LoGrippo and Mullen were at the conservation center in the fenced area where the (protected) DWC storage container is."

When they were asked what they were doing there, Councilman LoGrippo stated, "I'm showing town council candidate Shawn Mullen around."

At the time, nobody thought anything was suspicious because Councilman LoGrippo is an elected official and they believed that he had the authority to be there.

However, after seeing the photo featured in David Wildstein's NJ Globe story, it became clear that this was much more than just showing someone around.

Now, not only do we know who sought, received, and disseminated the information used to create the infamous "Tote-BagGate" conspiracy, we also know who took the picture found in David Wildstein's NJ Globe story.

What you don't know is who groomed, coached, edited, and approved Rory Chadwick's scathing libelous Facebook post that was intended to promote lies, misinformation, and defamatory accusations against innocent people.

     Stay tuned for Part 3.

  1. How rude of Mr. Wildstein to not give Councilman LoGrippo a photo credit in his story.

  2. Isn't there some rule about misusing your official position to obtain an advantage in a political campaign? Oh Well! I guess the Town Dump is the appropriate place for the Tote-Bag Scandal

  4. Glad to see that LoGrippo found something new to recycle at the conservation center. Classic republican sleaze a la Nixon! Way to go!
