At a recent Westfield town council meeting it was revealed that a council member, along with other Westfield residents, took it upon themselves to refurbish the picnic tables located under the picnic pavilion in Tamaques Park.
This beautification project turned old and worn out picnic tables into sanded and finished surfaces for all to enjoy.
TFoTM asks, "Why?" Why isn't the Westfield Department of Public Works assigned this task?
Westfield Town Administrator Jim Gildea is responsible for the day to day operations in Westfield overseeing it's various department's including the department of public works. He is in daily contact with department supervisors in the police and fire departments as well as at the DPW.
Why didn't Jim Gildea task his DPW superintendent with fixing up the picnic tables?

Councilwoman Mackey has been kicking some serious butt ever since she was elected. Spearheading initiatives, and doing the leg work as well. She's the best thing to happen to Westfield since they added rail service in the 1800's or whenever that happened...
ReplyDeleteThat because Rich Eubanks doesn't care about the picnic area all he wants is a paycheck he didn't care about the town before he became a boss all he wanted to do was do as little as possible and not break his butt doing it and past that down to all the new hires before becoming a boss so now they don't want to break there butts either
