$2.425 Million Lawsuit Settlement

The following video details the infamous “Big Blue” scandal that resulted in a lawsuit payout of $2.425 million dollars to six members of the Mountainside, New Jersey police department.

Mountainside town officials were addressed in early 2017 of systemic racism, bigotry, sexual harassment, and other police corruption.

The officers shown in the picture below, from left to right, Lt. Murphy, Chief Antanasio, and Sgt. Huber left the department in the wake of an investigation by the Union County Prosecutors Office.  Mountainside Business Administrator and former police chief James Debbie resigned.

  1. All I can say is that if a coworker threw and or hit me with feces covered toilet paper there would have been a physical confrontation prior to any lawsuit. These "men" acted like children and should never, ever be allowed to work in civil service again. The residents of Mountainside deserved better.
