ReplyDeleteThe BMW Captain Wayman took for his own use was a car seized from a drug arrest. He then had thousands pumped into it. For what, so he could go bar hopping? WASTE, WAST, WASTE! Give the car to the detective bureau where it belongs. But we understand why he won't drive a vehicle that might make him look like a cop. You cant park a crown vic in the Sun Tavern parking lot off duty. How would that look?

ReplyDeleteIt has been said that the police department is a "Quasi-military" organization. That being said, aren't the Chief and Captains at the top of the chain of command? Don't they get to decide where,when,and to what division gets equipment? Maybe if more time was spent studying to get promoted and less time whining on this site, then maybe others could make the decisions.
ReplyDeleteStudy for a test and get promoted? Tell that to Sgt. Earl and Sgt. Moffit. They were eligible to be promoted but one got skipped twice because Sgt. Ricerca got a "back-door" raise out of contract and then a "back-door" promotion to LT. Yeah, I'll start studying when Parizeau stops playing games with the promotional list to promote a guy that couldn't even pass the written test. Maybe all those pasta dinners and "flaunting of assets" that went on helped.

ReplyDeleteTesting Procedures in the Westfield Police Department are not governed by studying or schools or ability, and change from time to time. The procedure that advances you through the ranks at this time is simple.....invest in silicone enhancement for your wife, not once but twice than invite the Captain and Mayor over to enjoy your investment. In the blink of an eye you go from a class 2 officer who never went to the REAL police academy to the number 4 member of the Department ranking only behind the Chief and two Captains. So go study I mean invest....
