Go Fetch

The GOP continues to hold an 8-1 majority on the Westfield Town Council.  With Mark LoGrippo winning former Councilman Ciarrocca's 3rd Ward Council seat, there are those that wonder if LoGrippo will continue the status quo of not questioning the Mayor and his decisions.
TFoTM considers Councilman LoGrippo a gentleman and wishes him the best of luck during his four year council term.
Earlier this year, Councilwoman Vicki Kimmins stepped out of party line when she barked by asking the Mayor if Westfield's consulting engineer Gordon Meth could appear at a Town Council meeting to answer the many unanswered questions that still exist surrounding the installation of the HAWK pedestrian activated light on Central Ave.  The Mayor was not happy.
TFoTM had learned that after that Town Council meeting, Mayor Skibitsky admonished Councilwoman Kimmins for her temporary stray from his political leash.
The Council Kennel has been on lock down ever since except for Councilman Haas who will stray from the pack to seek answers.  Does Haas see what TFoTM sees?  Mayor Skibitsky's bark is bigger than his bite.

  2. The only good thing about the council players remaining the same is the fact that this is the group of people who will ultimately be held accountable when the inevitable occurs at the mid block crosswalk. The trial lawyers must be salivating right now in anticipation.

  3. I can't imagine councilman logrippo ever questioning the mayor. Skibitsky got what her wanted but this Mark is no comparison to the privious Mark.
