Westfield Police Officer Removed from AC Casino after Altercation

Last week, Atlantic City hosted the annual New Jersey Policeman's Benevolent Association mini convention.  The event brings together, police officers from around the state for a week of seminars, parties, and "extra curricular activities."
A TFoTM source, in Atlantic City for the convention, confirmed an altercation that took place between officers that resulted in a Westfield police officer being escorted from the casino property by hotel/casino security.
It is alleged that two Westfield officers, became agitated when officers from another police department were seen talking to a female Westfield police dispatcher that had accompanied the WPD officers to Atlantic City.
Casino security was notified and a Westfield police officer was escorted off the property shouting profanities and threats at the other officers.
TFoTM is withholding names so that the police department's Internal Affairs Division can conduct their own investigation.
The Westfield police officer removed from the casino is described as tall, thin build, with light colored short cropped hair or balding, while the other officer is described as short, with a "fake mohawk' and a Russian or Polish accent.
Westfield Police Chief David Wayman is no stranger to anger management issues that have plagued his career, anger issues that have obviously manifested themselves in some of the police recruits he is hiring.
You don't have to look any further than the physical altercations that have taken place at police department softball games that Wayman and some of his cronies have played in against other police departments to realize that testosterone and alcohol are a dangerous combination.
In appears Wayman's softballs aren't falling far from his own mitt based on the character and actions of some of his closest allies and recent hires.

  1. Is this the same female dispatcher who also had an incident during a police event in Atlantic City last year?

  4. Greg, Why are you trying to hurt police officers with your tabloid type news? You should be thankful for their services. One day you or your family may need them. You should not be doing this. What happened to you? You were a cop once! It's sad to see what you have become.

    1. The Fact of The Matter is thankful for the dedicated, hard working, and law abiding police officers that represent Westfield. Mayor Skibitsky and his Town Administrator Jim Gildea should hold every officer accountable for their actions, they don't. Examples: They allowed a Detective Sergeant (John Rowe) to steal from the taxpayer without penalty. Police Chief Barney Tracy allowed illegal criminal history checks on Westfield residents including a councilman. Upon my retirement from the department, I warned the mayor of issues that would plague the department should he and his town administrator Jim Gildea continue their tainted police chief selection process. A caste system exists within the department that is condoned by town officials. Once again, I am thankful for the services of those officers that enforce and abide by the law. I do not support those officers that think they are above the law, nor do I support town officials that turn a blind eye to the corruption.

  5. 100% agree with "Anonymous". This isn't really news, it's more like gossip.

    1. I said it was news. It might've tabloid type news, but it's still news. Gossip is rumor. The cop was escorted out. That's not rumor, it happened.
