    1. Can a mayor actually remove a sitting police chief? I thought I had read that the Chief is protected from the political winds. I thought that unless he commits a crime, gross malfeasance etc. he basically has the job as long as he wants it.

  4. Skibitsky let his police chief call the shots regarding play-dates in Hoboken.
I’m sure that Mayor Brindle won’t put up with the wasteful spending even if she is, afterall.....in Wayman’s own words......”Just a civilian.”

  5. Shoes how smart Davy isn't. The mayor maybe a civilian but the mayor is his boss. Jackass Wayman better realize he serve at the mayor's discretion and he/she can remove him at any time.

  6. Where is the "News not found in the news" this site purports to contain? Nothing here you cant find anywhere else, usually well before it makes it to this blog. I was hoping for real information that is otherwise unpublished and truly investigative.

    1. Scroll down and through seven years of investigative reporting. I can assure you, you will find things here you won’t find in the local rag.

  7. Congratulations to Mayor Elect Brindle on her landslide victory. I hope that in the future she rids the town of the corrupt powers that be starting with the Police Chief and the Town Administrator, who together have hid the truth from the tax paying residents.
