Change the record already. What about the Civil Rights lawsuit. What about the Newark car chase. What about the nervous breakdown...
ReplyDeleteWhat about the civil rights case? What that all about?
ReplyDeleteWhat about the Newark car chase? What happened?
Who had a nervous breakdown?
As long as a corrupt cop (Leonard Lugo) remains a police officer and isn’t criminally charged, suspended, tried, or convicted.......the record will continue to play.
The office of the Prosecutor of Union, and the civil authorities of the Town should both be censured for the breech of trust committed by each. The hypocrisy of each is understandable, given the duplicity of the County Government.

ReplyDeleteChange the names in the story to Chief Barney Tracy, Town Administrator Jim Gildea, Police Officer Greg Kasko.
DeleteKasko goes to Gildea to report Chief Tracy running illegal criminal history checks on Westfield residents speaking out at town council meetings against the construction of parking decks, Gildea contacts the police department, Tracy targets Kasko for termination.
In the end, town suspends Kasko July 5, 2016 with pay and pays him not to come to work until November 30, 2017 when he reaches retirement eligibility.
Municipal corruption at its best.
Deja vu.
