Part 3: Westfield Town Counciman Mark LoGrippo: Lies, Deceit, & Manipulation of a Man with Mental Illness

     Westfield 3rd Ward Town Councilman Mark LoGrippo orchestrated, manipulated, tutored, and encouraged, a former Westfield small business owner who is suffering from mental illness, to write a libelous Facebook post resulting in legal action in an effort to boost JoAnn Neylan and her council candidate’s election campaigns.

     Not only did Councilman LoGrippo take advantage of a local resident/former business owner who has admitted he suffers from mental illness, but it was in fact Councilman LoGrippo who provided OPRA obtained documents to Westfield resident Rory Chadwick.  

     LoGrippo also proofread, edited, and approved Chadwick’s libelous Facebook editorial before it went public.  See second and third paragraphs of Chadwick’s Facebook apology where he details being groomed and lied to. 

     Councilman LoGrippo then encouraged Rory Chadwick to submit the libelous diatribe to TAPInto Westfield saying, “Submit the editorial to Tap, blast this everywhere,” and asking Chadwick, “Can you get it on the other Westfield (Facebook) pages.”  

     Councilman LoGrippo eventually told Chadwick that, “Tap won’t do an article,” but, “The leader might do one.”  Councilman LoGrippo also told Chadwick, as if to convince Chadwick of widespread support for his libelous Facebook post, that people were reaching out to him (LoGrippo) telling him that they “love” Chadwick’s post.  

     Furthermore, the images used in Rory Chadwick’s libelous Facebook post were provided to Rory by Councilman LoGrippo. The same OPRA PDF file was obtained by Westfield 3rd ward town council candidate Shawn Mullen.

     *Rory Chadwick never submitted an OPRA request seeking the very information that appeared in his libelous Facebook post.  

     Westfield town councilman Mark LoGrippo, and each GOP town council candidate, created or shared this two-bit drama now known as “Tote-BagGate.”

     They attempted to peddle their drama to Westfield voters in an effort to misinform the public, slander numerous individuals, and take advantage of ….. and place in legal jeopardy….. a mentally ill man, all because JoAnn and her clan, have no plan.
